We visited many of London’s landmark stores. Harrods simply stands out. They know how to reinvented themselves, they are ahead of the game. It’s a whole lot more than just a big department store, it’s an experience one must live while visiting London.

We took the afternoon tea on 4th floor, great setting, live piano, great service, loved it. Lot’s of people in that store!

A « must do » in London...

We had lunch at Harrod’s. Great service, delicious food, wonderful setting...truly a beautiful lunch. We have food allergies. What we found in London is that most staff at restaurants ask patrons if they have allergies. If yes, as at Harrod’s, we had the manager take our orders, discussed our order with the chefs, marked our food plates and made us extremely comfortable to eat there. Our lunch was pricey, but so worth it.
Strolling through the store was an unimaginable experience. Hard to believe the extravagance and opulence. Again, we’re so happy to have made Harrod’s a must see on our trip.

We found that it was very difficult to find our way around Harrods. The signage could be improved. The gift shop was worth a visit but it took half an hour to locate. The lady who we spoke to in the wine section was very helpful and friendly.

Outside like so much of inner London was covered in renovation coverings
Inside looked dark and dull
Don’t know what all the fuss is
Overpriced items
Disappointed. Suppose just not into that kind of shop / buying

Can say I’ve been there but really don’t know why I was there
