Owner description: Separated from Hyde Park by the Serpentine, a lake used by boaters and swimmers, this park is calmer and more peaceful than its neighbor, and features many attractions including a statue of Peter Pan, Albert Memorial and the Serpentine Art Gallery.

Isn't it? A stroll in the sun. You can visit the Palace and enjoy the exhibition and have a cup of tea.

Kensington Gardens blends almost seemlessly with Hyde Park, but has those little extra touches that add to the pleasure. Framed by Kensington Palace at one end, and finishing with the Italian Gardens at the other, the gradens are a delight. Also contained within are the Princess Diana Childrens Park, the Albert Memorial and a brilliant must-see bronze statue of Peter Pan. We were lucky enough to see the park just as the trees were coming into leaf (late March) and, only 3 weeks later, were greeted by a beautiful ocean of green. A wonderful experience and worth at least half a day.

Loved walking through this and seeing all the spring blooms. A great city escape. A must on your stay, also include Hyde Park and the Palace of course.

Beautiful gardens. We walked right through from Buckingham Palace to Kensington Palace. It made for a great day. The gardens are beautifully maintained.

took a long walk while my travel companions were jet lagged. It was beautiful, and I met a few locals. Stumbling across Peter Pan was magical, as was seeing the sun rise over the ponds. A wonderful place to stroll and see some history.
