“Wonderous - love London”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We had the best afternoon walking in this park , weather was great which helped - the Diana fountain is fab for kids - BRING SPARE CLOTHES - guaranteed to get wet splashing around . The park is London at it's finest , the pirate playground is fab for little ones- get away from the busy city and enjoy this beautiful park .

“My Favourite Place in the Whole World.”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

I've been coming here regularly since I was a child and it has never lost it's unrivaled charm. The Princess Diana Memorial Playground or The Peter Pan Playground as we've always known it, is the best children's play area in the whole world, the only sad thing is that being eighteen now I can only get in if I'm with my two little cousins, but that's really a good thing as it's the children that make it such a magical place. ( Hyde Park Princess Diana Memorial Fountain is also great for a splash around on a hot day).
So many things in The Kensington Gardens have such a almost indescribable beauty about them it's impossible not to be happy here. J.M Barrie has always been my favorite author and it's really necessary that you read his book The Little White Bird if you want to fully understand the gardens. The Peter Pan statue is admittedly beautiful but J.M Barrie said "It doesn't show the devil in Peter." And I have to agree.

“Massive, and lots of room for kids to run”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

This park is worth a visit, but it is huge and there aren't really maps posted in the park to help you find things. We went for the Diana Memorial playground and wandered around for a while before finding it. There is a lot to see though, and the playground is fantastic. (The playground does get crowded though--seems like it would be better to visit that early or late in the day. And there is sand and water, so your kids will be happy but very wet and sandy when you leave--plan accordingly!)

“Treat your soul”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

A walk in kensington park is good for the soul. Fresh air and sunshine in London ... Perfect, the gardens were beautiful. Cost free .... Nice. The only concern beware of people on push bikes that think it is a race track not too many of them but they are there. If I went back I would like to hire a bike it would be delightful way of spending the afternoon.
