I am not much of an Art aficionado, but just to see the famous names like Renoir and Rembrandt and actually stand feet away from their work is amazing.. Definitely worth checking out and Trafalgar square is right there as well.. Must see while in London! - and it is free!!!!

What a great place to walk the corridors seeing history before your eyes as well as contemporary art. A must see for anyone traveling to London

Free access to this collection of a large variety of art, well located. They ask for a noninal donation of 4 pounds, well worth the cost.

We had lunch at the Bakehouse in the National Gallery and it was delicious. We explored as many of the galleries as we could and thoroughly enjoyed all the works of art. A memorable visit.

The National Gallery is beyond beautiful! There are so many masterpieces to see here! You can get the audio guide, but I used Rick Steve's guide in his London Pocket guide. Definitely take time to absorb the beauty in each room!
