This fantastic shop near the British Museum is a must visit for all those who want an original work of art at a decent price without the hassle and haggle of an auction room.
Specialising in works from the late 18th to 20th century, the owners manage to find either smaller works from well known artists, or interesting pieces from more obscure artists enabling them to offer a wide range of pictures to suit different tastes and fit different spaces. They also offer an excellent and competitively priced framing service for any works purchased. It's always worth looking out for their sale. I have bought some exquisite watercolours for £10 each, as well as artists' studies which, when framed, look lovely.
