We got the tube into Paddington station as we wanted to find the paddington bear statue. It's a great station with lots of facilities and plenty of routes in and out of it. There are a good selection of shops and places to eat, we visited one of the top coffee shops to warm up with a hot chocolate after being caught in the rain!

Pro tip - Heathrow Express is very convenient, worth the money. Nice station, clean and well kept. Some decent shops and restaurants can be found here as well.

The layout is very well set, you have tube connections, DLR and Light Rail but most importantly the Heathrow Express! What a smooth journey direct to the airport.

It is a big station but as stations go it is one of my favourite. Especially as it is the main station to get to & from Heathrow. But it also sits over some of the more reliable Tube lines like Bakerloo Line. Finally if you need some food they have both fast food and some higher end. If you wish to pop just outside the station you will also find many more restaurants nearby. It also has an abundance of hotels.

if you travel into heathrow, its well worth taking the express, which does stop at all terminals, its only 15 mins and much better experience than the tube which I have taken before., lovely comfortable roomy train with power docks all around. very smooth ride. when you get into Paddington station the fun is following the purple lines along the floor marked express which will bring you to the purple train as I call it with smartly dressed helpful staff in purple uniforms. loved the experience, a much better and less stressfree way of entering heathrow.
