Owner description: With a modern design giving a unique tubular effect, London's Millennium Bridge is a 330-meter pedestrian bridge linking the City of London at St Paul's Cathedral with the new Tate Gallery at Bankside.

So used to taking the Tube everywhere - my son insisted we walk from the Globe to St. Pauls across the Millennium Bridge. I went across when it was new ie; when it moved with every gust of wind but today it was a really nice leisurely walk. It still moves slightly! The views are excellent better than Tower Bridge as you get to see Tower Bridge in the view. I actually got a chance to look at the engineering for a change as so used to seeing the imposing grandeur of the other bridges it was nice to see some modern engineering up close for a change. It's the only walking crossing I know - I will try and take it more often. Worth going over if you want a view up and down the Thames.

Went over it to get to Tate Modern , a storm was brewing at the time, making it breezy to say the least ! Perfect for photos , and young children seemed to enjoy skidding down it as it had rained

often end up walking over this bridge when i come to london, depending on the station i get off at and where i am going.
Its weird as you can feel it moving unlike most of the other bridges in London (other than the ones that open!)
It is modern though but still seems to fit in well with its surroundings.

Nice place to walk over, the bridge moves - I mean buckles side to side so I somewhat got a headache from it but it's nice and I would recommend a visit for the sake of seeing it

I loved the view that the bridge gave me of different places. You can see St. Paul's, the Globe, and Tate Modern from here.
