“Beautiful views, interesting architechture”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Have always made this bridge a must do when visiting! The photo ops from early morn to dusk, evening are wonderful! The Shard, St Pauls, etc are beautifully lit up at night. The view from the South of Thames side back to St Pauls is amazing to see in person - a great visual effect. St Pauls to Southbank and on to OXO Tower, Tate, etc!! Never gets old

“Beautiful view”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

Crossed the Millennium Bridge on my way to the Tate Modern from St Paul's cathedral. Beautiful walk-one of the first warm spring like days. I could see everything in the City and the South Bank. You could even turn onto the River Bank path and have a picnic or continue walking. Highly recommended

“Nice walk, lots of photo opps”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

If you want to take a nice walk in good weather, this is a good bridge. I recommend the walk from south to north as the view is a little better facing St. Paul's. It's an all-pedestrian bridge and if it had any rippling issues in the past they've been solved - it felt solid as a rock. It's open enough that you probably don't want to go on if you're terrified of bridges, but for most people it will be just fine. Because it gets crowded, I liked that it was divided into two lanes so you didn't have to worry about fighting the crowds going the opposite way. A nice place to take photos of other London bridges or of your girlfriend standing against the skyline or whatever.
