“Perfect view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2013

I love walking along the southbank of the Thames and when you come to this bridge the view of St Paul's tempts you across. This is a perfect view of the cathedral. After visiting cross back and visit the Tate at the other end. From the sublime to the ridiculous.

You have a perfect view to the St. Paul Cathedral (picture perfect) and to many other London attractions and iconic buildings.

“Walking the Millenium Bridge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

I made several crossings on the Millenium Bridge during my two weeks in London. I loved seeing St. Paul's Cathedral as I strolled north across the Thames. Great views up and down river as well as to the north or south banks.

“Writes modern history.”

Go there for a lovely walk around the Thames, day or night. The vibes are pretty cool. The bridge is unlike anything I have ever seen. Great photo opportunities, overlooks St.Paul's cathedral, London bridge, Tower bridge and many others. A perfect spot for time laps, if you're into photography.

“Location, location, location”

The Millennium bridge is the most recent bridge to be built accross the River Thames. It's a pedestrian only bridge so you have no worries with cars or trains obstructing your view. When the bridge was first built there was a design fault and the bridge wobbled and work was required to remedy the fault.
The bridge is not a destination in it's own right, however the surrounding area most certainly is and the bridge enjoys unobstructed views of St Paul's Cathedral and the Tate Modern Gallery.
