“A Hidden Gem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2010

We booked this hotel at the last minute for a one night stay as we were going to Wembley Stadium to see England play. England were rubbish, but that's another story! The hotel was fantastic! The hotel has only just opened and was decorated to a very high standard. All the fixtures and fittings were modern and our room was extremely comfortable. The breakfasts available are of the continental variety, which is self serve in a beautifully decorated dining area. The staff were very helpful, and also very pleasant during our stay, nothing was too much trouble, including leaving our car in their car park for a few hours, following our check out the next day ! Car parking was available on site, following a request via email prior to our stay. Public transport is easily accessible from The Hide as the tube is a 2 minute walk away. We will definitely be going back to The Hide on our next visit to London.

From the minute you arrive you are made welcome and at home. All the decor and fittings are brand new and kept exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows are first class(my wife normally has to bring her own pillows but she said these were much better!!)
Two minute walk from underground and 25 mins to West End. You are outside the congestion charge area and the parking is free. You will not find better.

We discovered The Hide through Trip Advisor and decided to trust the two reviews, despite the fact it has only been open since September 2010.

The hotel is located very close to Junctions 1 of the M1 and A1 in North London.
It is a 2 minute walk from the Hendon Central Tube and the Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
There are several restaurants and convenience stores within a very short walk.

Access to central London takes approximately 15 minutes by tube.

We were immediately impressed by the free off-road parking to the front and rear of the hotel and the warm greeting we received from the owner and reception staff.

We were shown to our 'standard' room, which was immaculate, tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished. Being a boutique hotel, the rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate for two people to stay comfortably.

It was lovely to see the attention to detail, such as complimentary drinks, L'Occitane toiletries and refreshments, mini fridge and even an electronic safe, which are rarely seen in much more expensive hotels these days.

The bed was very comfortable, with four pillows and a really snuggly duvet. We slept like logs! All rooms are air conditioned and the windows open fully. The bathroom was immaculately clean with a fabulous walk in shower and hot water all day long.

Continental breakfast was included in the £80.00 tariff and consisted of a fine spread of well presented, quality foods served in the comfortable hotel lounge.

It's been a long time since we have been so impressed with a hotel and it will definately be our 'home from home' when travelling to London.

My wife and I stayed at the Hide London for 3 nights while visiting the city for a show and a leisure break.

The service was extremely friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet style breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice and was served in a lovely bright room at the rear of the hotel.

Our room, like the rest of the hotel was very modern and everything was to a high specification as you would expect with the hotel only being open for 3 weeks. The bathroom was particularly modern and high spec.

I would recommend the hotel to couples or adult groups visiting London and although in Hendon where there is not much to see or do, a direct tube from within 200 metres of the hotel will have you in Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square or on the Thames within 15-20 minutes. We paid £75 per night for our stay which by London standards is fantastic, as I have paid much more for hotels in the past and been much less impressed. Do yourself and favour and book yourself in!

I have stayed in this hotel for one night only. Apparently it is a very new hotel, only 3 weeks since opening. It is very close to hendon central tube station. It is very nicely furnished, fancy bathroom (shower with two showerheads), comfy bed, all very modern. A big plus is the free wifi (not very usual in london hotels). Staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast was also good, plenty of food to choose from and very nice breakfast room. I can say that it was the best hotel that I have stayed in in the UK so far.

Just wanted to say what a lovely time we had at The Hide. My husband and I booked this hotel as it was near Wembley Arena. The hotel itself is clean, well appointed and the staff very helpful. It is a bus/tube ride from Wembley so easily accessible for all events. The area where the hotel is situated offers pubs, restaurants and good shopping facilities. The breakfast is continental, which for us was great, all products supplied we of the highest quality, including the chocolate muffins!!.We would stay here again.

I stayed in the hotel on a recent visit to London. We were in London to see a show but didn’t want to stay in central London as we were driving from the midlands. We wanted a hotel with good links to the M1 and close to a tube station. The hotel certainly fitted the bill. It is approximately 2 minutes from Hendon Central (Northern Line) and easy to access from the M1.
The hotel is very tastefully decorated, we stayed in an executive room, which was very spacious and extremely clean. There was a great selection of toiletries in the room. The continental breakfast had a good selection of meats, pastries, fruit, cereal etc to choose from. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
I would certainly recommend the hotel .
