“Nice stay”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Brilliant position. Great staff. A bit expensive but worth the stay. I think one of the key point of this hotel is the fact that is very welcoming and clean and in a very nice spot to visit the city. I was very happy with the upgrade received and prompt turndown. Many thanks.

A great stay. The hotel staff was excellent. Though out on the Northern Line, this hotel is very convenient to a Tube stop (less than 5 minute walk) and we were in the heart of London within 20 minutes each day. We discovered the day before we left for Paris that a portion of the Northern Line would be down for maintenance the morning we had to catch the Eurostar. The front desk researched our best route to get to St. Pancras and left a printout under our door. We would definitely stay here again.

What a welcome, it was so genuine,it made me feel very special. My Case was carried to the room, and explanation given about all the room amenities. Toiletries very good quality, complimentary drinks, renewed daily. After work fancied a 'cuppa' in the bar, this was complimentary along with biscuits and any item from the fruit bowl. Continental breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice. The hotel in easy walking distance to the Brent Cross shopping centre. I Did use taxis can highly recommend Addison lee, but you need to Pre book, an iapp is available very useful and easy. Although on a business trip a real lovely 5*stay. This is my third time of staying and I hope it won't be my last. Thank you

We chose this hotel as it was close to the M1 and the Northern line so handy for driving to and then for getting in to London on the tube each day.
Unfortunately, upon check in we were told that the Northern line was going to be shut over the weekend which was a real pain! It's not the hotels fault but had we have known about the closure in advance we would have stayed elsewhere. The 113 bus could take you to the nearest running tube station but as it took about 25 mins we jumped in a cab. The cost of a cab one way to Finchley Road on the Jubilee line was £15 which added extra cost on to two £8 travel cards.
The hotel is on a busy duel carriageway but from our room (24) at the back of the hotel, there was little noise.
The rooms are small but not horrendous, the double bed was comfy and the shower a good size.
It was useful having the free mini bar which was topped up each day. Some bottles of water, coke, diet coke, and 7up.
The breakfast was really good. Fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, pastries, cheeses, meats and freshly warmed bread.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
I would stay here again, but only once I'd checked that the Northern line would be open, as the 2 minute walk to the Hendon tube was the reason we chose this hotel in the first place!

Room Tip: Room 24 was right at the top of the hotel at the back, small but quiet.

I can see why they call the hotel The Hide London, it's a gem of a hotel on the main road in Hendon, but you would never notice it driving past, my self and my son arrived at 8pm, the guy at check in was very tentative to our needs and made sure we were comfortable. The room was luxury, we had chocolates, champagne and soft drinks in our fridge, which was complimentary. Would recommend this hotel for stay in London, tube station 1 minute walk, lots of shops and restaurants near by, also nice pub across road. You don't hear any noise in room, as we were at front room in hotel

Occupied two rooms with wife and adult daughter beginning of July. Unfortunately the tube was discontinued from Hampstead for two days, so the journey by replacement bus line was quite a travel from Central London. Otherwise is it is still a bit far out but the commute is manageable. Close to North London locations such as Hampstead or Camden Town though. Liked the hotel and room design, the free minibar and amenities, but our room in 1st floor was the smallest hotel room I ever occupied in my entire life! There was just space for the bed, almost no space to stand let alone store two suitcases. Our daughter's room in 2nd floor was just a bit larger.
Besides that, the breakfast was good and plenty, staff helpful and nice.
Would have given a better rating if the rooms had been a bit larger.

Room Tip: Try to get a larger room (if there are any...) and away from the main street as it is busy and there...

I stayed at the Hide Hotel in London at the start of July with my boyfriend. When we arrived on the Friday afternoon there was a parking space reserved for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful explaining exactly how to navigate our way round London. On the northern line it only took us about 20mins to get into central London which wasnt too bad. The room was fairly small but perfectly adequate and very clean. The hotel is on a main road however we couldn't hear any noise in our room which was at the front of the hotel.

All in all it was a lovely hotel and for the price it was fantastic, I would recommend anyone going to London stays here, we will definitely be returning :)
