I visited St Pauls in February with my 16 yr old son. We enjoyed it so much that we went back on Saturday to take our 19yr old as well. This was a much faster visit, reaching there before 9am we took a little more than 2 hours to climb the 500+ steps, to look at the names in the vault with a summary of British history, to walk away a bit and see the view, done this time without an audio tour.
It was fascinating from so many angles. Good value as well as the return trip was free.
As we left a tourist was walking away in disgust. "They want £16 to go in. That's ridiculous for a 10 minute visit". Yes, it is, but why expect to see so much in 10 minutes.More
