“Worth a visit!”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

The last time I was in London I baulked at paying 11 pounds to go in. This time the price had increased to 16 pounds but I had made the decision I was going to see the church. What is not made really clear at the entrance is that this price includes a very good quality audio tour which in many other places is an additional charge. We were told it would take us one to one and half hours to go through the church and as there is quite a bit to see including the crypt this was good advice. If you also decide to tackle the stairs up to the whispering wall or even further to the top of the tower for commanding views over London time does fly. I made it comfortably up to the whispering wall area as the steps are quite wide but my companion who was half my age tackled the steeper and more claustrophobic stairs to the very top of the tower. Overall a very interesting experience and well worth after all the 16 pound entrance fee!

“St Pauls Tops them all!”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

I was overwhelmed by information and helpfulness in St Paul's. I spent a very enjoyable 3 hours here. The Audio guide is far superior to Westminster. It is such a stunning place to visit. If you can manage it, climb the many stairs to the top for the best view in London. Well worth a visit.

“Magnificent”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

It was a spur of the moment decision to visit St Paul's. But so very thankful that we did. This was the first of many Cathedrals that we visited during our 7 week visit to the UK and this was certainly the most beautiful building that I think I have ever seen. The architecture is by itself breathtaking but the paintings, mosaics, statues and carvings are extraordinarily beautiful and I was quite moved and emotional by the whole experience. The audio guide was excellent. I did climb as high as the whispering waIl up very many quite easy steps but didn't go any higher as I'm not keen on narrow steep steps but my husband went to the top and was quite taken with the magnificent view of London.
I believe this is an absolute must see when visiting London and even though entry is quite expensive and you can't take photos it was worth it to see such a magnificent piece of British history. Thank goodness that it has survived the ravages of time and will continue to do so whilst the general public pay an entrance fee.

“Amazing!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

wow, this church is a stunner! It's so beautiful! Make sure you come at least an hour before it closes so that you have time to go up to the top. Don't let the prospect of climbing hundreds of stairs stop you from seeing such a magnificent view of London. the whispering gallery is pretty cool while the basement isn't really that exciting (at least in my opinion). This is a must-see when you're in London!
