If you love parks, this one is one of the most beautiful in London, even during winter time. Good attraction to spend 20 minutes or 4 hours.

The park is wonderful for many reasons - it's landscaping, waterfowl, beauty, water features, views, people watching, proximity to Buckingham Palace and Westminster. There's a terrific café in the park. Watching children revel in seeing the many types of waterfowl was enjoyable.

I recently read that Churchill liked to walk through St. James Park. He knew what he was doing because it is a beautiful park with much wildlife, greens, and pathways. It also ends at Buckingham Palace, so it is well worth stopping through.

Great scenic route to Buckingham Palace and a little bit of country in the city.

This is a great route from Horse Guards Parade or Trafalgar for those with Families and small children as you can let them run and have a little bit more freedom compared with walking down the Mall and having cars to the side of you.

We took a brisk walk through the park on our recent stay in London and even though it's winter, there was lots to see: majestic pelicans, various ducks and birds, loads of squirrels and spring flowers slowly making their appearance. The park provides a delightful rest from London's hustle and bustle.
