Owner description: Far beneath the majesty and splendor of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protegee Christine Daae is so strong that even her heart cannot resist. The musical opened at Her Majesty's Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, and there have been dozens of productions worldwide since then. Now in its 26th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End, after more than 10,000 performances. Andrew Lloyd Webber's mesmerizing score along with jaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects, magically combine to bring this tragic love story to life each night.

I have seen Phantom several times since the 1980's and it NEVER fails to enthrall and engage me. This is a by far and way the best
west end show I have ever seen.

“Finally got to see it”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

It's one of the shows that you think you will finally get around to seeing but never book! My girlfriend wanted to go so we got some tickets and I glad we did. My girlfriend loved the music but I enjoyed the stage show more, amazing what you can do on stage now!

“Very intimate theatre- terrific show”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

We've seen Phantom in several cities but seeing a show in London is a very different experience as the theaters are much smaller (& older) than most in the U.S. , so the entire experience seems more intimate. We purchased tickets at a Leicester Square box office & scored wonderful front row balcony seats. The orchestra & sound were amazing. The bar upstairs bar & served beers during the show, so that was fun. The staff was helpful & efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

“Good show”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

Went to see Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre London. The show was good, however, the theatre is a bit on the small side. We had seats in the front row and had very little leg room. One of our party has a problem with her leg and she asked if she could be moved to a seat with more room. The staff were very helpful and were able to accommodate her in one of the boxes! All in all an enjoyable experience.
