Owner description: Far beneath the majesty and splendor of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protegee Christine Daae is so strong that even her heart cannot resist. The musical opened at Her Majesty's Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, and there have been dozens of productions worldwide since then. Now in its 26th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End, after more than 10,000 performances. Andrew Lloyd Webber's mesmerizing score along with jaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects, magically combine to bring this tragic love story to life each night.

“A must see”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

My husband and I attended this and enjoyed it. We had seats in the royal circle in row C and had some trouble seeing over the people ahead of us but that's our own fault for not booking better seats. I would definitely recommend paying for the best seats if you want an all around enjoyable experience.

While I loved it and say it is a must see, my husband who has seen it before in a different location said that the special effects were not as good as the other time he had seen it.

The actors were amazing though and really thought it was a memorable experience! I would recommend it to my friends for sure.

It´s the 4th time that I see this play and it´s always wonderful. If someone has to choose only one musical to see, it has to be this!

“Still going on”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

The show is still going strong and it was good to see it in London. The best performance of the night was from Raoul. He was so handsome and he sang with such passion. The rest of the cast was good as well and the costumes were nice too. The theatre was intimate and we had a good view of the stage. All in all a good performance.

“Such a Memorible Night!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

A truly wonderful experience. The historic old Theater is the perfect backdrop for Phantom of the Opera. The sound was incredible, the stage, costumes, effects and acting were all fantastic. There really isn't a bad seat in the house so it's fine to take the less expensive tickets.

“Great Show”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Love the show,it's amazing how they do it.Only problem on one show was our seats, they were right at the back,so sound quality wasn't great, and it was light. We left at half time, had our seats been better there's no way we would have left as the show is brilliant! A must do.
