Owner description: Far beneath the majesty and splendor of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protegee Christine Daae is so strong that even her heart cannot resist. The musical opened at Her Majesty's Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, and there have been dozens of productions worldwide since then. Now in its 26th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End, after more than 10,000 performances. Andrew Lloyd Webber's mesmerizing score along with jaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects, magically combine to bring this tragic love story to life each night.

I've seen this show in London, Las Vegas and New York and I would back to London tomorrow.
I think the story / show may not be for the 'first' theatre experience however the effects are great - I would recommend the front row of the dress circle for this one. Enjoy

My father had listened to the sound track of this opera many time and had voiced his desire to see the live show in London . So my wife and i arranged a trip down to London for my father and myself to see the Phantom at Her Majesty's Theater . The whole experience was excellent , from the ambiance of the theater to the magnificence of the performance . If you are reading this review with a view to booking tickets to see this show then i would hesitate no longer you will not be disappointed .

The Phantom of the Opera is my favourite show in London, i love it SO much that i have seen it 16 times. Its a beautiful, stunning production.

Throughout the month of August "kids go free" so my husband and I took our children, age 9 & 7, it was their 2nd time seeing the show & they love it too.

I think the best seats are front stalls or the Royal Circle, beware if buying "restricted or limited" seats, as you cant see some of the best bits and if you are seeing the show for the 1st time it will spoil it for you

I hope you see the show & love it as much as i do
