Owner description: Sandwiched between Kensington, Belgravia and Mayfair, this is one of the most exclusive and pricey areas in London known for up-scale shops and restaurants.

Nestled between Mayfair and Kensington, Knightsbridge is home to many upscale stores including Harrods and Harvey Nichols. There are many fantastic restaurants in the area. Great place to catch a glimpse of the rich and famous, or perhaps even a member of the royal family en route to Kensington Palace. A must-see while in London.

Harrods is the main attraction here but a hidden gem is the huge, Victorian Baroque Brompton Oratory a little further down. One of the biggest Catholic places of worship in Europe and very atmospheric. The church is next to the Victorian and Albert Museum so it would tie in well with a walk from Harrods towards South Kensington.

Walk from piccadilly circus along piccadilly...past the Ritz, past the Intercontinental at the bottom of Park Lane et voila! Don't miss Harvey Nichols http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HBPAa-0NgM and Harrods...

If you go London for your first time is a must visit this wonderful area on the central west area of London, the area is sorrounded by Hyde Park on the north, Chelsea on the south, and Kensington on the west and right from the corner is the Royal area of Green Park and Saint James to the East. The area is fullfil with high scale shopping areas, good restaurants and pleasant meadows where you can take some interesting pics of London looks like-a-village, but right in the Central. Also if you are interesting in sightseeing not famous but richest people from all over the world, specially those from arabs countries, this is the place to be, take your camera easy and enjoy the ride.
