Stayed here for one night. Got a lovley room with a really big bathroom. Excellent location with walking distance to almost everything. iPod dock in room was a very big plus since I forgot an adapter. Very friendly staff in reception who helped me with everything I needed :) Would for sure stay here again!

We stayed here for 1 night in the summer of 2012. First impressions the hotel is very sleek and modern and I loved the stag sculpture in the foyer! Check in was smooth and the girl was pleasant and helpful. Our room was overlooking the main orad out front but the windows must be soundproof as our room was very quiet considering. We were able to walk form the hotel to the theatre we were attending that evening (Rock of Ages at the Shaftesbury thetare) which was handy! When we returned to the hotel it was quite late but we had a drink the hotel bar and got chatting to one of the bar man. He told us they were closing the bar soon but that there was a good cocktail place not far from here. We took him up on his recommendation and found ourselves in 101Bar, a bar/nightclub which was right up our street. It was a nice end to the day. We then returned to the hotel for a good night sleep. All in all, a really nice stay and the barman was very helpful. We were glad we listened to him!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for visiting us and taking the time to share your review on Tripadvisor.

Bloomsbury Street is a contemporary hotel inspired by the history around it. We work hard to ensure that the building’s rich literary heritage continues today whilst at the same time offering guests a modern combination of attentive service, luxurious bedrooms and four star deluxe facilities.

It is heartening to read such reviews and once again thank you for the time you have taken to share your comments which will indeed help other travellers to make an informed choice when in London.

I look forward to welcome you back to The Bloomsbury Street Hotel in the not too distance future.

This hotel was just perfect for my first trip to London. The hotel was conveniently located near public transportation (bus and train), and there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. In fact, my husband and I walked to many of the touristy areas, including Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Picadilly Circus, etc. Granted, it was a long walk, but we made a wonderful evening of it.

As for service, the concierge staff was nice and helpful. In addition, I was pleased that the staff noticed my husband's birthdate on his id (we were there to celebrate his birthday) upon check-in. They sent up complimentary birthday champagne! My only complaint was that the drain in our shower didn't work too well. We called to have it fixed, but it wasn't really much better after it was fixed. Still, it was tolerable for our short stay.

Breakfast was very good, but a bit pricey.

Overall, I had a lovely stay. I definitely plan to return to London again some time soon, and I will consider staying at the Radisson Blu.

A stone's throw from the British Museum, five minutes walk from Oxford Street, fifteen minutes walk from Covent Garden, Soho and Shaftsbury Avenue. This is the hotel to choose if you want a sample the gems London has to offer. Culture: at the best museum in the world. Retail therapy: big shops down Oxford Street, trendy boutiques at Covent Garden. Gastromony: restaurants, bars, cafes at every turn. The Arts: all the West End's latest and best.
So with all that at hand, what's the hotel like? Well, it's a Radisson Blu and definitely meets the standards I expect from having stayed in other hotels in their chain. Impressive entrance, elegant decor in the public areas, efficient and friendly staff. Our room was clean and reasonable size. Everything worked. The bed was very comfortable.
We didn't make use of the restaurant or the gym facilities, there wasn't time!
Overall: Not cheap, but elegant and very comfortable. Like to use the hotel again? Definitely.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing into the middle of the hotel or on the side street. Rooms above the hotel e...

Booked in for afternoon tea with some friends whilst in London for the weekend. On arrival the hotel looked very impressive - lovely décor, very swish. Went into the Bar for our afternoon tea booking. The afternoon tea package was lovely and included a Christmas cocktail - which, when it finally arrived was delicious. Our afternoon tea took a long time to arrive, but when it did it did look yummy - shame our tea didn't arrive till we had finished our scones..... As the Christmas cocktail was so lovely (the Rudolph Bellini) we decided to order another round. We were told that you could only order this drink if you were having the afternoon tea - which we were.... It turned out - after much discussion with our waitress and the bar manager, that it would not be possible to order additional Christmas cocktails - only 1 was included with our package. We explained that of course we were expecting to pay for the additional drinks as they were priced individually on the menu - I would point out that there was a nice selection to choose from of 7 or 8 Christmas cocktails and we certainly would have liked to try a couple. The bar manager advised that we could not order any more of these drinks - they weren't loaded up on separately on the tills to allow people to buy more of these. How about you just put the stated price through the till and make up the drinks as per the menu, we asked - oh no, it wouldn't tie up with the stock. How utterly ridiculous! Here we were - willing customers, wanting to try these cocktails, only to be told that the Bar could not serve them due to the tills being incapable of billing properly. What a completely wasted opportunity by the hotel to sell more of these cocktails - how short-sighted and clearly the staff do not feel able to think "outside of the box" and find a workable solution to properly service customers. I truly feel sorry for the chef who make our afternoon tea because it was really yummy - scones light and delicious and selection of other goodies very nice - all of this marred by the lack of foresight to think that customers might want to try the festive cocktails. I am certain that many people who visit the bar for drinks would have asked for one of the Christmas cocktails - and how many times did the staff have to reel off the same story. How long will it be before someone takes the initiative and fixes the problem. Poor show Radisson Blu - I expected better

Our very first trip to London we stayed at this location, not really knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful hotel. The hotel was in a great location, the staff was super friendly and very accommodating to our many questions, the rooms were large and clean and the WIFI was free which was definitely a plus since we were visiting from outside the country and wanted to connect with friends and family. I would happily stay in this location again!
