“Radisson Blu Bloomsbury”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

I stay frequently at the Radisson Bloomsbury, mainly on business. The service is always excellent, the rooms are clean and quiet, there is a small but adequate gym on site, th wi-fi is free and of good quality throughout the hotel and the location gives very easy access to both the West end and the city. I am also a member of the Carlson club and so usually get an free upgrade to a king size room. Really can't fault it as a hotel for business and would have given it a five star rating if it wasn't for the fact that I haven't really ever used the restaurant for breakfast or dinner, preferring to go out to the many restaurants in the area.

Dear Richard,

Thank you for staying at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Bloomsbury Street Hotel. It is very rewarding for both the team and I to receive such a positive review.

Our biggest asset is the team we have. All staff across the hotel are very passionate about exceeding the expectations of our guests. The Bloomsbury Street and Kenilworth Hotels are centre of excellence when it comes to service delivery and looking after the needs of our guests.

As you might not be aware, we have just opened two new exciting restaurants. Steak & Lobster restaurant, downstairs on the ground floor and our new British restaurant across the street at our sister property, Scoff & Banter.

Steak & Lobster, is our name and our menu. Our new restaurant has fewer options so we can focus on perfecting what we do best: 10oz, dry aged rib eye steaks and fresh whole lobsters served on the half shell. We’ve taken choice and refined it. You’ll find our restaurant downstairs easy going and fun, modern and stylish.

Scoff & Banter, Bloomsbury is just a stone’s throw away from the Bloomsbury Street Hotel. Offering a collection of traditional British dishes served straight up or with a twist, Scoff & Banter fills the void that other eateries may leave behind.

Thank you once again and I look forward to welcoming you back to the Hotel.

Sincerely,

Hasnain N Alloo

The staff especially Stephanie at reception so very helpful and made our stay special. The room was lovely, clean and the bed so comfortable !! The hotel is in the perfect place to access oxford street and covent garden. The food was good and the wine was reasonably priced and the cocktails were great. Would definitely stay again.

Dear Tia,

Thank you for staying at The Bloomsbury Street Hotel on your recent trip to London and for taking the time to share your review with us.

We are indeed in the heart of the West End and within walking distance of theatres, Covent Garden Opera House, and the restaurants of Soho. The shops of Oxford Street are close by, and just 50 metres down the road the delights of the British Museum can be explored too.

As a team, we strive to exceed our guests expectations and a review such as yours is so rewarding when the teams efforts are noticed by our guests, I will personally pass your compliments to Stephanie who is a little gem in our team!

May I take this opportunity to wish you the very best and can only hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back.

Elegant and stylish hotel at a good location close to Oxford street, underground and buses. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good but expensive, if not included in room price. Beware of the minibar that has sensors, if you pick up an item you will be charged. It was no problem talking to the front desk if on made a misstake. The room we had was quiet and large facing the yard, so no traffic noise. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The room was quiet, secluded and clean with all the amenities provided- including free wifi. It was an enjoyable experience. The bed was extremely comfortable, which afforded me the best sleep in month. The staff was friendly and helpful. Additionally, the hotel is ideally located in a nice area of London. The Tottenham Court tube station is steps away from the hotel providing easy access. It is a good starting point to explore the city.

I stay at this hotel 3 times a year and it's a brilliant hotel to stay and good value for money, especially being at the top of Oxford street and a walking distance to theatre land.
I would differently recommend it.

Hotel in the heart of London and is ideally located for ease to get around all the key areas of London, there is no need to use the Tube, Taxis or Buses if you have no problems with walking as all the key areas are easily within walking distance. Hotel is modern and fresh with very friendly staff, the breakfast is excellent quality so would recommend. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and I would stay there again.

I stayed here for 4 weeks, and the staff really made my staying feel like home. Especially morning breakfasts with their kind welcoming gestures made my business meetings and work days relaxing. Besides the hotel's warm and good service, it's location is very convenient both leisure and office hours.
