Very comfortable hotel with all the facilities that one needs.Location is quite convenient to reach from the new railway station. Commuting from the hotel to any place in is also not a problem.

Initially there were miscommunication as to what I asked for the type of room as well as the airport pickup request because the booking was made on line and someone in the headquarter did not relay my email message correctly. However the hotel staff tried the best so I can enjoy the rest of the stay. The staff was very professional and pay attention to my needs, which is rarely seen in the service industry in the UK. So that stands out.I arrived early in the morning and they let us use the gym and personal spa room for shower and change. So I can start a fresh day.

The hotel room inside is modern and gorgeous with marble floor in the bathroom. The room has a lot of amenities such as nespresso machine, books to read in a sweet room. However I didn't understand why they don't have something very basic like toothbrush and toothpaste + mouth wash in the room though.

The only negative points would be there are few unblocked view rooms overlooking Hyde Park. So the premium you pay for the view is very high. I have travelled a lot all over the world but the premium for good view here seems a lot higher than the rest of the world maybe because of the limited supply of the rooms near the park.

Overall I enjoyed the stay there and don't mind coming back again.

As avid Four Season's guests, we have stayed with them all over the world. From the Spa to Room Service, the quality of customer service was poor based on expectations! The massage therapists had no consistency and when one was asked for a Deep Tissue Massage, she replied, "Oh, I don't do that, I only do personal massage." The next morning for breakfast our food had arrived and no utensils on the table to which our server stood looking shocked asking, "Where did they go?" The paper we asked for (Wall Street Journal) was never delivered and the list goes on...

Room Tip: The view from a Suite was still poor but as we are in the city, looking down an alley I guess is the...

Four seasons Park lane was truly a great experience, impeccable service, exclusive interiors, a nice subtle and quiet atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and they are there for you, to give you the very best experience from your stay. We had a bottle of wine at our room (very very reasonable priced i must say) the service around the delivery of if was just exquisite. I will come back to Four season many many times!

London has plenty of hotels, so I chose the Four Seasons on my last visit for a change. All in all a very solid 5* as one could expect from Four Seasons. Rooms are on the small side considering the rate, but then again, this is London. Nevertheless, they are nicely decorated, clean and functional. Decent hotel bar, serving fine drinks. And the hotel's location is very convenient.
From a price/value point, expectations were fully met and I would choose this hotel again - Yet the certain something lacked to make it a memorable stay.

Over the Easter week we spent 8 days at the Four Seasons Park Lane. We were very excited to visit our first European Four Seasons, but came away feeling somewhat disappointed with the experience.

The room check-in was perfunctory. Maybe we were expecting too much, but we were disappointed with our first impressions and the room - the view was good, but the adjoining room door was unexpected, as we have requested on our profile that we do not receive adjoining rooms. The hotel wasn't full, but requests to be moved were unsuccessful, and we were willing to pay for an upgrade, unfortunately the only available rooms were suites at an additional 700 pound per night. I think this set the tone for the week.

Rooms
The rooms are nicely appointed, stylish, but small and compact. Only one sink in the bathroom, which gets a bit tiring after a week. The colour palette in the Premier Rooms was dark, very masculine and a bit depressing after several days. If we return we would book the Deluxe Room or Executive Conservatory category, for the lighter colour scheme. On our fifth day we were able to change rooms to an Executive Conservatory category. This room was much better for size, and the decor was light and refreshing.

I give high praise to the housekeeping team as they were extremely accommodating to our ever changing schedule, and always on top of things. Offering me a replacement straightening iron when I was having plug issues was one example of exceptional customer service. (with the exception of forgetting to replenish cups/glasses/coffee/milk - which is room service responsibility). I think there is an issue with the "system" they use. On one night they left us 3 extra of everything, but we ran out again by the end of trip.

Concierge
The concierge was superb. They helped us with several dinner bookings. Unfortunately our booking with the in house theatre desk (ALBEMARLE) was problematic. They found us "very good" seats at the Royal Albert Hall. We were stunned when we arrived to discover these box seats provided less than suitable legroom (seats behind were fine). The leg room was cut in half, as the chairs were directly in front of the box balcony wall, and we spent half of the concert with our legs pulled up, cramped, in pain. Not being able to stand it, we left at intermission. Next time i will book my own tickets (as i did for another theatre production) and then i can only be mad at myself if the tickets aren't great.

Amaranto Restaurant
The restaurant staff at Amaranto was exceptional. Every bartender, waiter, manager we came into contact with was lovely, kind and provided excellent customer service. We ate several meals, including Tea and we have absolutely nothing but compliments for this restaurant. Unfortunately, the children in the dining room/bar/lounge at 8:30 p.m., isn’t exactly their fault, but maybe they could find an adults only place.

Hotel
The hotel house car was always available, and the drivers should be given recognition for their extreme patience driving in London and overall loveliness.

The vibe of this hotel was inconsistent. On some nights the lounge/bar/restaurant areas were spilling over with children, making a peaceful dinner impossible, and other nights it was quiet and relaxing. I couldn't really figure out if they were targeting families with small children or business people, or maybe trying to do both, not too successfully. Overall, we didn't see many hotel managers, and found the atmosphere to be somber, and somewhat lacking. Maybe we are used to resort type properties, where you see managers/directors presence.

We would return to this hotel, but will consider booking an Executive Conservatory room, and making sure to avoid holiday weekends.

Lovely treatments, good wet spa facilities and amazing views from spa lounge where food is served. Very impressed with the therapists. Personally, I prefer the Corinithia but this spa is still excellent.
