Uur third and most recent stay at the Connaught was markedly improved by a super friendly reception. The mere fact that our room was ready at 2pm was extraordinary. We were even offered a choice of rooms - traditional or contemporary. We opted for the same contemporary room as a previous stay. The butler welcomed us with a introduction to the room's amenities - all was well - except for the curtains which did not work- if the butler couldn't make them work - what hope did I have? The modern bathroom is marble oasis with plush towels, robes, separate shower and bath and luxury Japanese w.c
Service, food and room features at the hotel are exceptional. Wifi is available and reliable. Room service of Truffle Risotto and Lemon Pudding was delivered and proved to be a very good evening meal as good as any restaurant. All in all a very enjoyable stay - if only the IP phone which offered all sorts of online features (flight info, internet weather, and others) would allow for gratis international telephone calls - our stay would have been perfect.

Room Tip: despite the central location the rooms on the side street and those facing the front street are quie...

I stayed at The Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London twice. The first time I was so impressed by the service and the ambience of such a great and small hotel. Yes, it is pricey (extremely) but it is worth it if you can afford it. The front desk and concierge were able to get me into restaurants that I wouldn't be able to on my own. There is a kitchen on every floor so when you order somethng it comes quickly. The Grill is one of the best restaurants in London and it is in the Connaught. All in all this is the place to stay for ambience, service and overall luxury.

The Connaught is one of the most established and prestigious hotel in London and its reputation still worth the price of the ticket.
The location is perfect, close to the trendiest shops and restaurant of the city, but well preserved from the chaos and noise of many bustled streets of Mayfair.
The service is attentive and kind, very English but not decadent or old.
Breakfast is served in a nice bow window facing Mount street one of the coolest street of the area.
Rooms are fine, anything special but nice linen, nice toiletries from Bamford, fine minibar and mine was very quite

I stayed at The Connaught after my return flight was cancelled and I needed to find a suitable hotel at the last minute. Previously, I had been to The Connaught for drinks or dinner but staying there really enhanced my experience.
At a time when London was packed with tourists, it was not easy to find a hotel at the last minute and midnight. The desk at The Connaught was as effective and friendly as you would expect. They immediately organised a beautifully appointed room and transport from Heathrow at that ungodly hour.
The front desk was working in the middle of the night as it would do at any other time of the day and soon I was in my room resting and relaxing.
The only word to describe the room is perfect.
Breakfast was excellent too and as I had to check out at 12 o'clock but my flight was only at 8 pm, they made available a perfect little changing room where I could freshen up and shower.
Many thanks for all your professionalism, courtesy and efficiency.

My partner treated me to a weekend at the hotel for a 50th birthday surprise. We both thoroughly enjoyed a very indulgent weekend. The deluxe junior suite we stayed in was huge by most five star hotel standards and I have never stayed at a hotel with so much wardrobe space! The afternoon tea we enjoyed on our arrival was excellent and we enjoyed the breakfasts too. We also enjoyed both the Connaught bar( where the Connaught Martini experience can be thoroughly recommended)and Coburg bar together with the Helene Darroze restaurant, where the food was superb and warrants a review all of its own really. I think what stands out about this hotel is the level of service. We were there for a two night stay and therefore encountered a lot of the staff in the restaurants, bars etc. Without exception, everyone was incredibly professional but friendly with it. I am looking forward to finding another excuse to stay here. Thank you to The Connanught for making my 50th birthday a very special one.

Room Tip: If you prefer a more country house style room try and book a room in the original part of the hotel...

Location in London is simply ideal: chic and quiet, central and hidden from the busy London traffic. The building itself is amazing, cosy, warm, and delightfully contemporary. But above all an outstanding staff that is ready to go the extra mile. We go upgraded to a junior suite because our room wasnt ready on time. Not to mention the fabulous Helene Darroze restaurant the nice indoor pool and the perfect breakfast experience .... The Connaught is for me the best hotel in London.

Pricey, but a grand hotel. Wonderful concierges who arranged for theatre tickets and restaurant reservations weeks before our arrival. Had room on 6th floor overlooking the rooftops of London. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance of most of the places you want to go in London. Only complaint was the room needed more drawers for clothes and about another foot of width.
