We stayed for one night in a newly refurbished room on the 7th floor (the same level as the Spa). It was perfect. Room was spacious and beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Great bathroom with huge bath and walk in shower, lovely toiletries, nice fluffy robes and slippers. Bed really comfortable. The mini bar was eye wateringly expensive (£4 for a kit-kat). The staff were great and attentive.

The swimming pool is small, but again very clean and well looked after. The gym was well equipped.

We had a fabulous afternoon tea, it was cleverly done and inspired by Fashion. Anything that we could not eat was boxed up for us to take home. It is one of the nicest afternoon teas I have ever had. Lovely sandwiches and savoury nibbles as well as delicious cakes.

Room Tip: Ask for a refurbished room and 7th floor the most convenient for the Spa

The Berkeley is a lovely, gracious hotel. I loved the central location, close to Harrodsburg, Harvey Nichols and the Piccadilly metro line. I was surprised how much I used the latter...but it was so convenient to hope on and get to covent garden, Leicester circle.

I had a deluxe room which was spacious and had a great view of green park. Bathroom was luxurious.

I had dinner at koffman's and it was great...

Overall a great stay.

The Berkeley Hotel is a perfect haven in London, whether you are shopping, sightseeing or travelling for business. It is truly a perfect choice.
We stayed the weekend of the 20th of October for 2 nights on the excellent rate of £359.00 prpn- weekend indulgence package. This includes full English breakfast and a bottle of Tattinger Champagne.
When booking I had requested an early check-in,and also a late check out. Very often hotels are unable to provide this, but each time we have stayed at the Berkeley, they haven't let us down, and we checked into our room at 10.00am, What a luxury !
The other request we made was for a newly renovated room which yet again the hotel were able to secure for us.

On arrival we were met outside the hotel by a hotel representative and greeted by name. As our room was ready we were shown straight to it and checked in there. This little gesture is really appreciated as anyone who travels for long hours knows that this completely relaxes you and allows you to get settled without any further stress.

We were located on the eight floor in a lovely refurbished cosy room. Very comfortable if a little on the small size, but our room had lovely features including a Bose I-Pod dock, spacious wardrobes and drawer space and a separate shower and bath, where most hotels with rooms at this price range feature a shower over bath.

We had a lovely leisurely late breakfast.
And if I could give an award for best British breakfast, The Berkeley would win hands down!!
We were little piggies this weekend and sampled lots of offerings off the menu and I have to tell you, The Caramel Room has lots of treats for those wishing to indulge.
We celebrated our arrival with two glasses of Champagne and were then topped up with almost another glass compliments of the hotel, now that's what I call service!

The Berkeley is renowned for their pastries which is well deserved recognition.
Throughout the weekend we enjoyed delicious bacon, both back and streaky... Lightly smoked and flavourful and perfect poached eggs every time.
My husband declared his omelette of cheese and ceps 'the best ever'. It was like eating a soufflé.
Sunday evening we had a late bite once again in the Caramel room. The Chicken Tikka Masala was perfectly spiced and not sweet like some can be. The presentation in copper bowls was excellent.
Unfortunately we had to check out the following day, but after calling reception Jenya confirmed that if we vacated our room they would give us a Resting Room until 5pm.
The Berkeley hotel had gone above and beyond all expectations for us, their service is nothing short of astounding. We really felt like we were royalty. The concierge booked great tables for us at our favourite restaurants, Haakasan Mayfair and Scotts, even at short notice. Nothing seems to be a problem here.
We can't wait to return and are hoping to bring our kids for a quick pre-Christmas shop.
This is the perfect hotel in London to bring kids as they have a heated pool with a garden which plays movies in winter. Here you are kept warm with patio heaters and blankets and lots of hot chocolate.
The hotel rooms have wii and a bag of very special sweets for each child. My kids often ask which hotel had these treats as they can't wait to go back there, and they are very discerning kids that frequent the Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons.

I am so glad to have chosen The Berkeley at Knightsbridge for our 12-day stay in London. I was absolutely in love with the stunning decor of our Deluxe Junior Suite designed by Helen Green. The location was the ultimate plus point - being walking distance (about 5 mins) to Knightsbridge station, Harrods, shopping along Sloane Street, Hyde Park and the quaint shops & cafes behind the hotel...and also we particularly love the fact that the hotel was not patronised by mainly tourists. We enjoyed our morning walks around the neighbourhood almost thinking we were "locals" after a week's stay. If we were to ever move to London, we MUST reside in that neighbourhood!

We had sumptuous meals at their inhouse 2-Michelin starred Marcus Wareing and the less formal bistro style Koffmann's. We just didnt get to meet Madonna at her favourite Blue Bar. However their buffet spread has to be THE BEST, ever. Everything served was fresh and ENGLISH - very English setting, we love it! We ate there every 12 mornings yet we never got sick of their breakfast - BOTH THUMBS UP!

We have made the right choice and would highly recommend our friends visiting London to at least try a couple of nights stay at none other than The Berkeley.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms above their function rooms, can get quite noisy if a wedding dinner is on.
