Some of the oldest manuscripts (eg Magna carta), music, maps and engravings you are likely to see anywhere. Close to St Pancras/Kings Cross station and well worth a visit.

Went to see the Propaganda exhibition which was superb. Very powerful exhibits, very effectively presented. There is also much more to see in the library which means we will go again when next in London

On this occasion we saw the 'Propaganda Exhibition' which was very interesting and as usual immaculately set out. Always enjoy visiting this cathedral of learning. We even had a cup of tea in 'The Last Word' coffee house.

The Magna Charta - How do you beat that? The foundation of our current relationship between citizens and their government in western nations.

The first folio of Shakespeare put together shortly after his death.

Beatles stuff.

Great museum if you love history.

Original documents including The Magna Carta, Darwin, Isaac Newton and the Beatles. And free, too. What more can be said?
