The treasures stored here are breathtaking too. As a researcher, I love coming here. You cannot fail to find fascinating things to distract you and the building itself is a marvel.

Treasures gallery absolutely superb. Well worth a visit and its a contribution entrance fee. Folio gallery was really interesting. Facilities superb. Wish I had visited earlier

The building on Euston Road is not to everyone's taste but once inside you'll forget the prison like look of the exterior. There is an exhibition of the treasures of the Library which has more old and important books and maps than you will have ever seen. They also do great temporary exhibitions so check out what's on and go take a look. All free of course.

You can't access a lot here without being a member. They have some good exhibitions so if there's a good one on that you are interested in then go, otherwise probably not worth it if you are time limited

It may look like a jail from the outside, but the interior was excellent. For obvious reasons, no photos were allowed but you can buy post cards or books that show the highlights. My favorites include: the Magna Carta, early bibles and qurans, Beetles, Da Vinci, maps and Beowulf.
