Given my business travel I've had the chance to stay at many of them there. This hotel ranks right up there with some of the nicest. I didn't get to sample many of the minutes he's at the hotel offers however the staff especially the front desk and doormen were amazingly efficient, friendly and helpful. Although my room was not ready when I arrive early, they were very helpful and allow me to shower in the spa. Please note there is only one shower but the locker room is very nice. I did order room service which was timely fresh and good taste. Unfortunately I didn't get to participate in the restaurant or bar. For business andI i assume your family vacations will be a great hotel to stay in. Area, great accommodations, and very very friendly.

We have just returned after a very short trip to London when of course we stayed at our second home there - Claridge's. We were also back there as usual last Christmas.

Once again we were delighted. The welcome from Steve as we arrived. The usual top class service in the Foyer from Glenn and his team and the superb room all ensured that as usual our stay was excellent.

We are booked again for this Christmas and will be back again in September. There is no alternative in London.

Room tip: Just book !

Dear GCGM-Inverness,

I was delighted to learn you thoroughly enjoyed your most recent stay and have shared your kind comments with the entire team who are thrilled you took away such fond memories. They are most grateful to you for your appreciation and kind comments. Particularly Steve, who has now worked here for over 36 years and Glenn who leads the Foyer team with such passion, professionalism and commitment and who, as with many of our colleagues has such strong friendships with our guests.

Needless to say we all look forward to welcoming you back to your home away from home later in the year.

With fond regards,

I have stayed at Claridges many times before and have always had the same first class experience. This time I was mixing business and pleasure. It is an exceptional hotel and has been painstakingly restored to reflect its Art Deco heritage. All the suites I have stayed in have the most amazing attention to detail. The staff are of the same high quality and make your stay both a pleasure and an experience. I like to think of it as a home from home as the staff make you feel special from the moment you set foot in the door.

First time.

Lovely hotel. Quirky old style Art Deco rooms. Not for you if you want modern.

Service & staff very good and friendly.

Breakfast is all waiter service. The tea could be hotter.

Better than The Ritz.

Toilet Report: All good
Pricing: In the cloud but that's 5 star
Recomendations to Owner: Hotter (ie boiled water) for tea.

Claridges is one of the very best hotels in London and always feel special when we stay there. We were there for my husband's birthday so had opted to go up a level in accommodation. In the end we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was very spacious and had obviously recently been upgraded in décor.
The bedroom was also very spacious and had a very comfortable bed. We had room service when friends arrived and coffee was served silver service which impressed our friends greatly. We had breakfast in the dining room and were pleased to be greeted by staff we had seen at our last visit which is always good to see that staff are retained.
The hotel is in a good location for some great restaurants and shopping in Mayfair and Oxford Street.
We love this hotel and can't speak highly enough of it - a very special hotel with wonderful staff and not at all stuffy for a 5 star hotel.

Room tip: Try to go for a level of room at least 1 above the basic as the roomers are more spacious.
