My husband and I (29 & 31yo) stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May while travelling around Europe, and really enjoyed our stay. The owners greeted us very warmly and were always helpful in giving us advice on what to do and how to get to places. The hotel is in a good location with a bus stop directly across the road and within walking distance to a number of tube stations, and a 10 minute walk down to Oxford St and 15-20 minute walk to Covent Garden, Leister Square etc. We had a room on the top floor facing the street and while we could hear some street noise, we were still able to sleep well and it wasn't an issue. The only problem was we stayed during a very warm period and as we were up on the top floor our room became quite warm and stuffy. This wasn't too much of a problem as we were out most of the day. The room itself is quite small but bathroom is a decent size, it was very clean and good value for London. It is a short walk to a convenience store around the corner and cafe's. The included breakfast was delicious, with table service (staff were always very attentive) and eggs and bacon cooked perfectly, a range of cereals, providing as much toast as you would like, and a yummy marmalade which my husband loved. Wifi was fine and they provide tea and coffee in the main sitting room. There is no lift so we carried our bags up a couple of flights of stairs - good exercise! We stayed in a number of places during our holiday and I have nice memories of this place, our first stop, and would definitely stay again if returning to London and recommend it to others.
