This was the first out of three art galleries I visited. This was my favourite art gallery because the art was done by artists that aren't very well known. I've seen famous pieces of artwork and this gallery showed artwork that most people haven't seen before. Being there made me feel relaxed because it was very quiet you could walk round and just look around at the art. There were lots of people drawing their favourite pieces of art and taking photos. I would recommend going to this art gallery to anyone who likes modern art.

To be fair, I just been to the free part of the museum. There are fewer art pieces than I have expected, and the descriptions accompanying them are not the best I have ever seen. Just feel like this museum may be slightly overrate so I give an average to balance it out.

Just £4 gets you in, add £1 for a map, lovely Sunday spent looking at some of the best Modern art of the century. Picasso, Warthol, I mean come on. Loved it. Child friendly, very accessible, loads of add on activities and a lovely shopping experience to boot

If you're visiting London between now and August 9th and are a lover of modern art then you MUST go see the Sonia Delaunay show at the Tate Modern. Expertly curated, the museum did a fantastic job of showcasing the work and myriad talents of an extraordinary and prolific artist.

While a visit to the Tate Modern is technically free, special exhibitions like this one are NOT, so be prepared. Also, this particular show will set you back £14.50 per Adult (roughly $25 in May 2015).

Also, visitors have 30 minutes from the time they purchase a ticket to enter the exhibition which is something I've never encountered before.

Still it was so worth it, Sonia stuns! And independently of this exhibition the Tate Modern is wonderful; the architecture and industrial feel are great and you can't beat the views of the Thames and St. Peter's across the Millennium Bridge.

Went to the Sonia Delauney exhibition, very interesting, not an artist I was familiar with.
Coffee always good. restaurant has amazing views and food was good service a bit functional, they had a couple of large parties in which seemed to throw things out somewhat.
Always a good location for a walk along the river before or after, we caught the tate boat down to Tate Modern
