One of the best museums in the country. Que outside can be bit log of you don't get there early. I'd suggest allowing 3-4 hours to get the most out of the experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed most of the museum. A great place to walk around and spend time. Also, free but donations are definitely welcomed.

The best museum in London. Very rich and educating for kids and adults. All aspects of science are presented in a unique way. Tip: Avoid school holidays.

Arrived at 9:50am (opens at 10am) and queued down the street and into the grounds. When we eventually got in the security was really relaxed (walked through) so we were straight in to see the whale. Some impressive skeletons of dinosaurs & animals.
The dinosaur exhibition main attraction is the moving tyrannosaurus, it’s kept down one end out of the way, in a very dark room with blue and purple lights - atmospheric maybe, but rubbish for photos! Still, the T-Rex entertained my 5-yr old who stood transfixed for 15minutes.
There’s a “Dino store” especially, but not much worth spending money on.
The displays were great, loads of interaction, bits to touch, interesting for all age groups. Lots of stairs for little legs though!

This place is huge, almost a city block! You could spend days here. My wife and I unfortunately only got to spend about three hours. It is the most amazing museum I have ever visited. They have the largest dinosaur fossil collection I have ever seen as well. The museum is very comfortable and have a well stocked cafeteria if you plan on staying long.

We visited the museum mainly to see the whale but then the more we started to explore it was super interesting. They had different categories from fossils, gems, science, sea creatures, birds and more. We need a good half day in order to go through all. I suggest a full day for a nice and relaxing time specially if you go with kids. Definitely worth the visit I recommend!

This museum contains really interesting things. Animals, skeletons, minerals etc. Our teenagers very interested. My son spent long time looking at different kind of minerals which was collected around the world.

Good place for younger children. The dinosaur corner is always popular but other collections also offer educational information.
