Great place for a picnic. Even greater place to see the outdoor theatre and anything that happens to be on the afternoon or evening you are there. We've stopped many a time, or made time to stop over, just to catch a picnic in the delightful green of the park and to see some of the best inexpensive theatre in London on a beautiful summer's eve.

Regents park is a firm favourite for whiling away a summers afternoon. Wonderful rose gardens, lovely water features and everything to make you feel that you are far away from the city

There is no better place for a stroll on a beautiful day in London than Regent's Park. I confess I have not explored half the vast park, but everywhere I have been is beautiful. At first I was a bit disappointed to be missing the rose garden in bloom, having remembered it as a beautiful spot on a previous visit, but that disappointment quickly turned to fascination at the beauty all around. You will leave your cares behind in this tranquil setting.

Gorgeous, gracious, grand park. Wander along with a smile on your face. The architecture of the buildings lining the park are some of London's finest.
There's a good play park for the kids, boats to hire, and an ok cafe (if you order the homemade pizza)

I spent an enjoyable couple of hours relaxing and walking round Regents Park. Sitting and watching the variety of bird life was fascinating, especially watching the herons and heronry. As a very small child, my mother used to take me daily round the outskirts of London Zoo, as we lived nearby at the time.
I remember seeing Love's Labours Lost at the Open Air Theatre in the 1960's and was pleased to see that the theatre is still active.
The park is very clean and well kept, an oasis in the middle of busy streets.
