Cathy (may be with a K) was the live feed on our bus. She was so enthusiastic and you could tell she loved every moment of sharing London with us. She was the bright spot of our day!! Great tour!!

We did the Big Bus Tour the first day we were in London. It gave us the overview, so we could zero in on what we wanted to do in-depth. JoJo was an excellent on board guide. She had a lot of interesting “back stories”. The river cruise felt like a bonus!

This tour was amazing and well worth it! If you want to see everything London has to offer, you should book this tour. Our tour guide Joe was the best! He was funny, friendly, and full of information and fun facts on everything we saw. He definitely made the experience even better. Highly recommend especially if you’re not going to be in London for too long but want to see everything.

Lewis was fantastic as a guide. Two others were less then stellar. It’s a great way for a big picture of London. It was not crowded, we went on a Friday. Used our London Pass and I recommend doing this bus tour. You can upgrade your one day London pass for cheap but we used the tube for the other days.

We went on this tour bus on rememberance Sunday which made some of the sights out of bounds. But our tour guide Lewis made the experience very enjoyable. We had a fantastic morning on the bus with him. He went out of his way to make everyone happy and comfortable.

A 48 hour pass is recommended unless you are short of time. Suggest that one looks at as many sights as possible on the first day and see the areas that were missed on the second day. Some of the buses have live narration whereas others have a recording. The live narration is preferable. The buses can be identified by the numbers on the outside. The ticket sellers will be able to tell you which buses have live narration.

So this was a great way to see the sights however I have a few gripes. We had 3 different “guides”. One didn’t speak very clear English and was hard to understand. The second one didn’t really do much “guiding” he was basically a passenger with a big bus tour jacket on. Then the third was called Bill from Australia he was totally excellent, funny, engaging, factual, interesting and worth his weight in gold. The tour was a tad disjointed due to road closures, this was to be expected, I do feel we should have been made aware that we would miss 5/6 stops due prior to purchasing our tickets. A massive problem too was that there was NO information on which stops to go to and where they were and there were people on the streets who were big bus employees and yet had no idea where we could find the next bus. One of these such people sent us on a 1.5 mile wild goose chase looking for a bus stop that never appeared, we eventually took a taxi and missed the rest of the bus tour.
Has the potential to be excellent as long as you get a good guide and communication within the company was improved.

This is a brilliant way to see all the sights of London. I opted to go all around the red route to see what I wanted to hop on and off at. St Pauls cathedral was my favourite stop. Our guide Liam was very informative, entertaining and funny. I shall be using them again when I hope to try the other routes available.

You must see the London sites this way! Live English guided or multilingual channels tell you what you are seeing as you pass! Unlimited on and off privileges for the duration of your pass! The guides are friendly knowledgeable and funny! If you’re site-seeing in London this is the way to do it!!
