Not the best known of all the museums London has to offer, but thta also means it can be nice and quiet and no masses of people trying to get a look at paintings. Beautiful collection of some of the works of Reynolds and Gainsborough (some top-paintings !, but also an impressive collection of armoury, antique religious paraphernalia and all within the setting of this grand mansion. Very civilised place that does not charge an entrance fee but leaves a conribution to the discretion of the visitors
