Beautiful artwork displayed throughout a townhouse. Less crowded, more relaxing and more enjoyable than some of the better known museums.

Hidden gym. It is a great place to visit. the art collection is unbelievable and often overwhelming. The building itself is incredible. One of the best art galleries I have managed to see.

I go to look at the colour of the Sevres porcelain. Its utterly out of this world. Opulent without being pretentious

The Wallace Collection is located about a block away from Oxford Street almost behind Selfridges. A nice break from the shopping madness of Oxford. The house itself is lovely and the collection is stunning. You can probably have a good visit in 1 to 1 1/2 hours. It's a very relaxing and educational experience. Afterwards you may want to explore nearby Marylebone High Street or St. Christopher Place. Both are charming.

There is something for everyone here - arms and armour, french furniture, porcelain, clocks and super collection of paintings. The cafe in the (covererd) central courtyard is also very pleasant.
