Tucked away behind Wigmore st and Baker St is one of my favourite art galleries.

This review is about the restuarant in the glassed in central courtyard.

There is a nice choice of lighter dishes, ssandwiches etc or a full a la carte if you like..

Prices for the quality of the food are very reasonable.

It can get very busy so you may have to wait if you have not booked.

Last visit was thirty years ago when the place was a dusty collection of ill sorted items. What a spectacular change! The building has been entirely renovated with tasteful decor varied according to content, in part thanks to generous private donors. The Sevres porcelain must be the best outside France and the art is hung in various ways according to style - even the hanging chains are coloured to match the wallpapers. Really too much to write about, so suggest a visit to www.wallacecollection.org before a visit or to refresh memories thereafter. An absolute must when in London!

This is an opportunity to see the interior of an elegant 18th century mansion house which now contains a superb collection of art and artifacts. Never as busy of some of the more well known galleries. A treasure not to be missed

A very personal collection opf art, of all types and antiques. Very good indeed. Only surpassed by the Frick Collection in New York and the Isabelle Gardiner Museaum in Boston.

Nothing to dislike

I had heard about this place but had never been there as I didn't know where it was. We passed it on a day out and decided to go in. It is brilliant. There is an amazing collection of first class art works including The Laughing Cavalier. The restaurant looked good although we had already eaten.
