At the end of an easy tube ride the tunnel takes you to an entrance without having to emerge overground to a drizzly day! So much to see including fully set up rooms from stately homes, a cornination chair, fabrics and all sorts of fancies. Some items from the great exhibition too. Could spend hours here and all for free!

I have been to London many times, but never to V&A. It was raining cats and dogs, so it was a perfect day finally to visit it. 2 hours passed without noticing and I really wanted to explore more, but we had a plain to catch.

Can not express how excellent this thought provoking and rich exhibition was. Captured my entire family’s imagination from my 3 year old, 10 year old and both parents. So grateful to have institutions like this that make space for both the old and the new...inspiring. Thank you!

Excellent collections, given with a very simplistic and relaxed way.

The V&A houses a wonderful selection of design. Textiles, ceramics, furniture statues and paintings. The breadth of the collections is brilliant and features examples from many countries and eras. There is a good gift shop and resteraunt
Highly recommended for a relaxing and educational day out.

The V&A always deliver when it comes to their special exhibitions- David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Glastonbury and now Frida Kahlo. I visited when it first opened and again this month during the 48-hour opening over Halloween. Superb and beautifully compiled exhibition that created a sense of reverence for an underrated artist.

What makes the V&A unique is the combination of all
Important factors of a great museum:

- type of exhibitions / curation
- general building interior, amenities and design
- lay out and accessibility
- free standing exhibits
- museum shops and restaurants

V&A combines all these to perfection. Additionally to that the location in the museum quarter makes for a great cultural day out.

They had a Freda Kahlo exhibit. Lot's of great exhibits everywhere you look. Have a meal here, the food looked really good. They also schedule high tea.

The building itself is beautiful, especially the marble cladded stairwells. I love both the variety of historical periods artifacts and the contemporary exhibitions. The gift shop has a good range of souvenirs/gifts as well.

Had not been here for a number of years. Liked the new Exhibition Road entrance and new landscape. Really liked the Photographic gallery and the gallery showing 1970 computer art. The cafe provided a good selection of food for lunch.
