To get around everything so a good tip is to do your homework before your visit. What ever you want to see is well laid out and well documented.

Best and exiting exhibition I've ever seen. The long queue, packed hall and extention of it by 2 weeks gave it more value. Inside I needed the catalogue to read about what I was about to look at close up. Silently side stepping and looking behind so as not to touch anyone I joined the dance of visitors. It's a synchronised skill needed to see all 4 rooms. A) History of Frida, b) Mexican religious practice, festive head bowls and hand made textiles.c) Medical contraptions displayed on beds d) Beautiful art costumes with chain stitching viewed first hand & films of Mexicans wearing the ethnic head dress. Films of Frida in the sunny garden. Thank goodness for the courtesy portable chairs as it took all day to see. Before being expelled into the retail outlet selling mementos. The museum has world experts who have excelled themselves.

One of the best museums in the world! I've been to a lot of them and this completely blew me away. I spent two hours and I barely scratched the surface. I can't wait to go back. It's easy to get to. There's an entrance off the underground tunnel leading from the Tube. The displays are not boring at all. It's laid out in a very interesting and modern way. They had lots of interactive items too with fun things for adults and kids to explore further.

One of my favorite London museums! Browsing the museum was a perfect way to spend a rainy day. Warm and inviting - one could spend hours admiring the works of art on display. Admission is free although there may be a charge for special exhibitions.

We enjoyed the museum, it's amazing, but we went shopping for Christmas gifts and were completely ignored by the staff. They were not interested in providing customer service at all, just staring vacantly into space. we put out things back on the shelf and left.

Arrived by tube in South Kensington and had a nice coffee at one of the Italian cafes close by. The museum is full of a wide range of exhibits. Really enjoyed the jewellery and miniatures. The sculpture was great too and the building itself is pretty magnificent. I need to go back and see what I missed.

Lots of interesting stuff here but after visiting the museums in Paris last week and Windsor Castle yesterday, this one seemed kind of blasé. They always say you get what you pay for...and thank God this one was free !

A must see museum with free admission and entry right out of the tube station, which is great on a bad weather day.
