Is a way of saying , but souvenirs are such an interesting variety in their shops after your visit that it is hard to not get some.Fist do your tour, enjoy the exhibits, have a meal or a drink in their large terrace(garden in fact a patio) or restaurant downstairs and allow yourself at least half of hour o have the tour of souvenirs , as Hollywood ones are really funny and enjoyable. Happy i have been there and i should have more time for the visit. There were many things i couldn't pay my whole attention as time flew away...

I took my film crazy 15 year old son to see this exhibition. We couldn't seem to book the tickets online so got there at opening time at 10 and had to wait til 11.45 for the firsts free entry slot - but we enjoyed visiting the rest of the V&A in the meantime. The exhibition was so well done. Not only is there an amazing collection of gorgeous costumes but there are also screens playing clips of movies, interviews with actors, designers, directors. my only complaint would be that it was aquite dark so hard to see all the details but I suppose it had to be to see the screens.

this is a museum that should never be missed. In fact, you could spend every vacation here and never see everything. Classic sculpture, British history, current fabulous exhibits such as Hollywood costume, ad the Ball gown are my facvorites. the British hsitory galleries should never be missed!

This museum is massive...even after 4 visits I still haven't seen everything it has to offer! During my most recent trip I was with a couple of cousins who had never been, so there was quite a bit of rehashing for me. Not much seems to have changed except for the Fashion section. It was in need of a facelift, and I really love what they've done with the display. Otherwise, it's still fascinating to look at all the different sections from history and around the world. The giant Roman column on the ground floor is very impressive. The cafe on the back end of the courtyard is quite lovely for a break, which you would definitely need if you're planning on seeing as much as possible in one go!

My son and I went to see the Hollywood Costumes exhibition and very much enjoyed it, we spent some time afterwards looking at a very small selection of what the V&A has to offer. We did not have nearly enough time to do it justice, therefore a return visit is in order :-) A beautiful building also and so much variety.
