Having been in London numerous times, we decided to try the aquarium for a change. £20 each, no student discount, no 2 for 1 entry unless you have travelled national rail, etc. But it was good enough. Had it have been cheaper and there wasn't 475984570628745609 screaming school kids trampling all over your toes (although the kids seemed to really enjoy themselves), it could have been better. Interesting species but nothing that blew me away.

Just a warning, If you've visited aquariums in the US, such as the Shedd in Chicago or the New England in Boston, this location will be a big let-down. We were in and out within 30 minutes - there just wasn't anything that captured our attention. Big disappointment with the price they charge.

The aquarium is absolutely great. Wonderful selection of sealife, including penguins. All absolutely happy in their environment.

Our experience was tainted by the lack of communication and direction - the shark feed was cancelled, but we were not made aware. We waited for ages. No staff available to ask. Very poor and disappointing.

I will have to go again, but I will check on arrival regarding the feed times etc.

Make sure you pre-book you're tickets as this is not worth queuing for! The queues were still dreadful around 3:30pm but thankfully we'd booked. This is a pretty mediocre attraction. For myself and 2 Kids, I paid £35 roughly (discounted price for after 3pm). We were in and out in about 45 mins. Most of the times the Kids couldn't see anything as there were so many people (mostly adults) in front of the exhibition areas. My Kids love aquariums and usually they are there for 3hrs. I think the fact it is so busy prevents anyone really learning anything. Maybe we picked the wrong day (Saturday).

Pleased I did go, My 16 month old loved it. Very pricey and awfully packed. The tunnels are narrow and you dont get time to look at the fish. My son wanted to see the sharks (there is a glass floor) yet he risked being trodden on. Good selection of sealife including peguins but we chose the wrong time of day, It was jammed with school trips and a school for disabled children so lots of wheelchairs. With buy one get one free tickets its worth seeing but avoid peak times, between 11-3.
