Owner description: ZSL London Zoo is packed full of wonder and amazement, with over 650 species of animals to meet and thousands more surprising and fascinating facts just waiting to be discovered. Find yourself face-to-face with our Asiatic lions and our friendly giraffes whilst they enjoy a spot of lunch. Wander through our Madagascan shrub forest and see how many of our ring-tailed lemurs you can spot before heading down to B.U.G.S to quiz our insect experts on the importance of insects to our ecosystem. Then, if you're feeling brave, you can get up close and personal and take a Spider Selfie with our resident arachnids in Europe’s only walk-through spider experience. Not to mention firm favourites Gorilla Kingdom, Penguin Beach and Tiger Territory. This is a place where fun days help us fund raise. Where your visit will help support our conservation work in over 50 countries around the world. Where really great days out can make a really positive difference to the wildlife we work to protect.

Book online if the website is working .. if not, bad luck you will haver to pay more. A smallish zoo, cleverly designed to make it feel bigger. The Fish and Chips was awful ..... some of the exhibits were empty without a notice.

Great website with information before hand and decided to drive in rather than take the bus. Good availability of car spaces during the first week in Easter. It was a lovely day cold but fine and sunny and the zoo was quite quiet but made for a lovely day out. We ate in the restaurant marquee which was very busy but the quality of the food was worth waiting for. The only shame was that you couldnt see what was on the menu until you got to the food to worth going up to see what they have. All in all a good day with loads to do and see. Even if the weather was bad I dont think it would have been spoiled as there were lots of indoor bits around the site.

Quite a few different species, a decent full day out. Not one of the best zoo's I've been to as I think its too 'touristy' with being in the centre of London but was good for a visit. If it wasn't in such a location the £22 entrance fee wouldn't be worth it. Would be a good day out for familes.

On a very cold day at Easter this is proably not the best time to visit the zoo as many of the warm blooded animals are still hiding away. The new tiger facility was brilliant, and the indorros exhibitions well worth spending time in - especially the monkeys in the Rainforest.
