Went to see the display of dresses and we were slightly disappointed. Couldn't spend a whole day there, whereas the Tower of London is about the same price and much better value for money. Was fairly interesting but nothing to write home about. Victoria exhibition was quite interesting.

I totally enjoyed everything there relating to Queen Victoria and surprised to learn that it was home to Kings and Queens and various royal children as well as the former home home of Queen Victoria and Princess Diana along with it's current occupiers in the form of Prince William and his wife Kate. The dresses on display was very popular with the ladies and even though the Palace isn't as grand as others such as Buckinham or Versaillies, it still has grand stately rooms to admire and enjoy. The gardens were full of colour and very attractive.

I did find it difficult to read the books that were placed in most rooms as the lighting was not that good and books were limited in their availability, adding audio as an o[tion would add real value to the experience.

A must see attraction...highly recommned it!!

We were enjoying a bike ride around Hyde park/ Kensington Gardens using the Boris bikes when we came across Kensington Palace and decided to visit. Obviously recently been updated with some imaginative and quirky displays using props and paper sculptures which we liked. Good for the history of the Stuarts/Georgians and Queen Victoria with the added bonus of seeing the Queen's dresses along with Princess Margaret's and Diana's outfits too. Well worth a visit.

Kensington Palace isn't as fancy as Buckingham Palace, but it still is worth a visit. Our hotel was across the street from it, so we visited it right as we got into London, on the first day. We visited London on the heatwave days, so it was very hot. Kensington Palace didn't have air conditioning, so it was sweltering hot. As for the museum itself, it wasn't up to par with other palace museums like The Palace of Versailles, in Paris, but it still had interesting things to look at. There was a section devoted to what Royals had worn throughout the years which was very popular, and there were sections that showed the King's and the Queen's apartments. If you want to visit Kensington, do it on a colder day, so you won't be sweating while trying to go through the museum.

I found this very dull, the rooms were just uninteresting, for example one of the rooms just had some old chairs and tables in it. The dresses were probably the best part, when you can actually get to see them through the people. We were luckly to have been able to get in for free with a voucher, I really would not have been very happy if I paid £16.50 to go there.
