Owner description: Buckingham Palace serves as both the office and London residence of Her Majesty The Queen. It is one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today. During a visit to Buckingham Palace, visitors can see the nineteen magnificent State Rooms, which provide the setting for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining. All rooms are furnished with many of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection. A visit also includes entry to the special exhibition, A Royal Welcome.

“Great palace to look around but the queen never in residence!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

Very stately and grand with extravagant furnishings and carpets..
The art on the walls was astonishing, and must be worth well priceless to be honest!
Ushers always seemed to be moving you on though, you couldn't really stop and take in some of the works of art like you can in a gallery, OK as a whistle stop tour of the house but not really representative of the queens palatial residence, only seemed like you were getting a very small glimpse of the place!
Shame really!

To have the possibility to see the Palace in August from the inside is just amazing! Really worth to play tourist for a day and spend the money on it to do everything!
I recommend it!

“Fun!”

We arrived there late, so we did not get a good position to see the guard changes. But we got to see the whole experience and it was amasing.

“Changing of the Guard”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

Well this iconic procedure has been ging for decades and viewed by countless tourist and i hve been one of them and of course you know that with all the recent attention of the former Miss Middlton , now the Princess and her pregnancy there is even more interest in the Royals. Many people may not know this but whem the Queen is not in residence at Buckingham Palace the flag is lowered and fyiesat half staff except during the untimely death of the former Princess Diana , Prince Williams famous mother. they are may interesting things to occupy your time in London while visiting like visiting the Crown jewels and the Queens septor has a diamond the size of an egg with over 300 carats in it and her crown is not to be believed. Know trip is complete without a visit to the Towed Bridge that is know a striking view and of course i have many photos and will try to post some later, but as far as buckingham Palace i had to take two photos ad tape them together to capture the whole thing because it is so long. Don't forget to visit one of the many pubs and try the pub grup and those crispy pickled onions i just love !

“trip to windsor castle and buckingham palace.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

Idid this trip with my daughter and grown granddaughter in a day in 2011 and it was amazing. could have had more time at Windsor Castle-it is huge, almost a whole city in itself. Buckingham Palace was so grand, it took your breath away.Sadly it was raining quite hard and we couldn"t see as much of the beautiful gardens as we would have liked. had afternoon tea there after seeing all the state rooms, and this felt so special. a great day.
