Is it hip & happening? For sure. Is it a tourist trap? Well, yes, a bit. Is it a place where you can find other than souvenir junk? Definitely. Would you want to go there? Yes. Because it has a pleasant vibrancy, because you can always find something special, because it’s less crowded than Camden market, because there’s lot’s to eat - a whole range of street food vans is awaiting you and they serve really good food - because it’s an old semi-covered market that’s put in use again. The Market is surrounded by non-brand shops, pubs, restaurants, close to the City, close to Brick Lane in a pleasant, easy going London neighbourhood. We should cherish these places where artisan and artistic are finding a place before they do become tourist traps.
