It's daunting at first, but once you get used to the underground and how it works, it's a brilliant way of getting around. The Oyster card is essential so that you don't have to pay every single time you go into the station. Load up an amount, then simply swipe in at the start and swipe out again at the end of your route. The cost of your ride is deducted.

Very busy and hot thank goodness for the moving staircases and lifts as there is one heck of a lot of walking, the tubes were hot inside although the cooling units were on and crammed full but an experience you need to do whilst in London

Brilliant service, definitely the easiest wat to travel around London..the longest we had to wait for a train was 2 mins and we used a few everyday for a week, some trains are very crowded in rush hour but that’s to be expected..wouldn’t travel in London any other way

I have always used and loved the underground for over 30 years of visiting London.
It is easy to use with well mapped routes and easy use ticket machines for cash or card.
Don't worry if the tube is full as they are very regular and I have always found it to be reliable.
A great way to explore the capital.
