“A great way to get around London”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

This is a great way to get around London. I suggest finding a tube map available on line and choice your hotel from a nearby location. I booked my hotel first then had to use hotel shuttles and taxis to get to the tube (subway) Most people are friendly although they do not like you in their space during rush hour. The cars were very full and many people were standing. If you go after 9am and not during 4 - 7 you should be okay. Victoria station is huge! Do a little planning ahead of time and you should not have any problems. You really do need a tube schedule, a bus schedule and availibility of taxi or hotel shuttles to plan your trip.

“A miracle of engineering”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

I use the tube a few times a month for work and it is the best way to get around London.

It is part of the city which does a fine job. The oldest underground network in the world with lots of original bits still used.

Did you know that most of the underground is now overground?

“Better than it was”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

Well you must see it. But expect it to be crowded even at the least expensive times. Can be much too hot in the summer. However it really is London. Try and ignore the miserable commuters- remember they have to ride it every day!
