When we arrived there was plenty of people but not too much that it feels overcrowded , the ride with the wax work from the Victorian times was fantastic.

I hadn't been here for many years, but, following a business meeting, I had the opportunity to visit. It has obviously changed with the times, the old Planetarium is now a 3D experience and there is a historical trip in a taxi back through the history of London

Some of the old features are still here, such as the history of Madame T and how the waxworks are made, but the Chamber of Horrors has gone and Star Wars, Shrek and Masters of the Universe have taken over, along with sports personalities, politicians, royalty, fashion celebrities and pop stars.

Excellent - and enjoy being photographed with your heroes.

If you are in London then it's worth a visit. Sometimes you can get discounts on line so always worth checking. It's done in sections so you can see some film and artists then go through and see lots of exhibitions and setups so some good immersive pictures can be taken. It can be busy for the most popular characters but the wait isn't usually very long

So I booked this for myself and a friend and then read reviews after booking and started to regret it based on what I was reading.... so pleased we went ahead with our visit as it was great! There was no queue at all to get in to the venue at 11am on a Wednesday, it takes about an hour to walk through the waxworka before reaching the Royal Tea area. The staff were lovely and the afternoon tea was generous - we couldnt finish it! There were 4 sandwiches each, a scone with cream and jam each then a cheesecake in a pot each and finally lots of little cakes. We paid an additional £12 for 2 glasses of Prosecco which wasnt bad based on London prices, a bottle was £25. We had a choice of teas or coffee. We took as long as we wanted in the "eating" area - we weren't rushed out. After eating and taking pics sat with the Queen we continued walking through the attraction which took about another hour (we skipped through the Sherlock Holmes attraction and the Marvel movie so potentially we could have been there longer) I would really recommend this as a day out, just dont take it too seriously and have a fun day! (If you're taking kids then under 9 year olds might not be that interested in a lot of the waxworks, it depends really on their music tastes and history learnt at school. I know my 6 year old would only really like the Marvel and Star Wars areas and would be rushing through other areas)
