“Great fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

Had a super time, great fun! Pre booked on line and wait 15 minutes to get in......well worth it. The figures are amazing, loved the taxi ride, scream was terrifying and 4D film brilliant. All in all great......but make sure you pre book or you are probably in for a long wait to get in.

“Very disappointing!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

Oh Madame Tussauds, what have they done to your museum!
I visited years ago when there it was really busy but there was loads to see and you didn't feel at all rushed.
Now the queues are horrendous even if you have advance tickets, once you are in it's very difficult to see the exhibits because there are so many people crowded round and it just feels as if you are rushed through the exhibits as fast as possible.
The Chamber of Horrors used to be excellent but now there are just a handful of exhibits, most of the space being taken up by a Scream "attraction" which consists mainly of people jumping out at you in the dark.
Having queued for nearly two hours to get in (OK it was a Saturday) we spent less than an hour and a half actually inside.

The Spirit of London taxi ride is a good idea but too much is packed into too little time.

I would only recommend going on a really quiet day during the week and out of school holidays!!

“super visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2013

Brilliant day out. We pre booked our tickets online though still had to queue for 20mins or so. Definitely worth the wait. Lots of famousfaces, really enjoyed the 'taxi' experience of london and 4D cinema topped the day off. The 'scream' was ok but as the crowds were huge it took away the fright factor.

“Madame Tussaud's”

We used the current cornflake packet ....adult free with one child ......voucher to make our trip less expensive and chose to arrive at 4.45pm on a Thursday.....no queue at all!!! And no real queues for any waxworks, not even One direction!! My daughter and her best friend had a wonderful time lots of new models to pose with. Take a camera!!.....It was a non-stop fun visit, the girls smiled throughout and loved the London experience taxi ride and the 4d movie at the end a really worthwhile experience.

“Too busy to properly enjoy”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

We made sure we went as early as possible to get in on bank holiday Monday and it was soo busy even then that it was too busy to really enjoy. All the wax figures were surrounded with people with only. Handful actually having some sort of organisation to them. It all resembled tying to get a drink from the bar on a busy Saturday night. When you factor in that every statue was like that, it very quickly becomes tiresome. We didn't even bother with one direction (partly because we couldn't really give too hoots about them) mainly because it was that busy that the staff member in charge of the exhibit had started shouting at people because it was just too chaotic. It all resembled something from a classroom where the children had all been naughty. To top it all off, admission is 30 quid each (cheers Kellogg's for the buy one get one free). In my opinion that's way too much for what it is. I have also been here on a weekday off season and its a good laugh then (and would actually receive a positive review from me) however as most people will attend on a busy day and I'm rating my experience only, this is a complete 1 star attraction that I would advise to avoid completely.
