The best thing about this Tune Hotel is its location, only a 15 minute walk over Westminser Bridge to the Houses of Parliament. The hotel itself is fine if all you want is somewhere clean to sleep. The rooms are small, just about big enough for the bed, and they have a "pod" in the corner of the room that houses the toilet and shower. But if you want to use the shower, or even just wash you hands after using the toilet then you will have to pay an extra £1.50 for the towel and toiletries package! Given that most people probably don't travel with towels this seems like a strange extra! Most hotels seems to charge an extortianate amount for Internet access so it was pleasing to find that Tunes only charged £3.00 for 24 hours access.
Tunes Hotel isn't somewhere you would want to "stay" if visiting London, but if all you want is somewhere to sleep, then it is fine.
I was in a room on the 6th floor and the views of the London Eye and the Post Office Tower were spectacular.
The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but just across the road there is a nice little Italian, Cotto's which I have reviewed elsewhere.More
