Amazing architecture, being part of beautiful St Pancras Station. Impressive foyer and bar, rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable. Easy transport links. Definitely recommended for both business and pleasure.

Thank you very much for your review. Being linked to St Pancras station you can easily go anywhere in London on the tube without stepping outside but also access national and international railways. Kings Cross and Euston are just a short walk from here.
I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and like the building. We do offer Historic Tours in case you are intersted in one of them please give us a call.
I hope to be able to welcome you back anytime soon.
Kind regards, Kevin Kelly, General Manager

My husband booked this hotel as a birthday surprise for me and it was a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the station platform and had access to the Chambers Club. We were also allocated a butler but did not use this facility. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. One suggestion I would make is to place a second lamp in the lounge area as it was rather dark. Also the pillows were incredibly soft, and I had to place a cushion under mine as I prefer a firm pillow.

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the station platform to get the full experience.

If you stay at this hotel or are just passing, it is possible to book a guided tour.

Tour guide Royden Stock knows his stuff, namedropping Victorians like a walking Dictionary of National Biography, and pointing out marbles and paving like a veteran stonemason.

His tours take in the generously portioned corridors, meeting rooms and bedrooms of the hotel, all restored to the sumptuous standards the Victorians and Edwardians enjoyed

The highlight has to be the grand staircase, familiar from countless movies. Well worth the visit

We stayed here as our first stop on a 25 day wedding/honeymoon trip to Europe. I cashed in points (I'm platinum with Marriott) for two nights. I was hoping for a complimentary upgrade due to status, but no such luck. Our room was pretty standard for Renaissance. The hotel itself though was anything but standard. Beautiful features. Most of the staff were very nice, with a couple exceptions. They did go out of their way to make sure we got some dinner on the first night when we fell asleep and woke up at midnight :)

It's not super clear how to get to the hotel when your train pulls into the St. Pancras station (and you CAN take the subway straight from London Heathrow to St. Pancras - study the map). We ended up walking around outside because we didn't see signs, but if you just keep going up the escalators, you'll eventually see the Eurorail trains and then the hotel entrance.

The bar/restaurant is a must see -- but don't stick around too long for the overpriced drinks. Venture out to some of the local bars nearby :) We found it convenient that the conceirge sold tickets to the double decker bus tours -- it was good to charge the tours to our room (and get points!) and not have to use cash with the shady ticket sellers.

The club lounge for platnium members was nice and had good breakfast and a nice afternoon tea. Good coffee too. The set up was not what I was used to in the states.

Overall, a great stay. Would definitely go back next time we go to London!

Room Tip: Hope for an upgrade to the chambers rooms, but don't get your hopes too high.

This hotel is absolutely stunning and FULL of history! From the Booking Office restaurant whose bar sites in front of the old ticket windows, to the grand staircase featured in many movies, to the hidden staircase room, we were completely awed. Had dinner and drinks in the Booking Office overlooking the train station and it was magnificent! Definitely my favorite hotel in London, and I've been to a lot of nice ones!! Even if you don't stay here, definitely stop by and walk around the hotel and out to the train station, it's spectacular!

my wife and i spent a night here just before Christmas. we had a lovely experience. it really is a 5 star experience, which i would highly recomend. i would also suggest taking some time out to walk around the hotel to gaze at how well its been restored. As a side note, the breakfasts are excellent too. very traditionally British!

We've always wanted to stay in the St Pancras Hotel since it was reopened a few years back, especially being big fans of gothic architecture.

Unfortunately we hadn't realised that some of the 'cheaper' rooms were in a new wing, so we missed out on seeing the old restored parts of the hotel in all it's gothic splendour ...except for the public areas of course like the booking hall.

I guess the rooms in the older parts are much more exclusive with a tariff to match and probably beyond our budget... A shame.

However our room was very good and a decent size. The twin beds were extremely comfortable and nice and firm how we like them! The decor was modern with a few traditional twists. Sound proofing was excellent.

At nearly £250 a night we would expect to have free wi-fi, but this was not the case.

All in all an excellent hotel, but had I known we weren't going to be staying in the original parts of the hotel, maybe I would have booked elsewhere, and just gone to the booking hall for afternoon tea instead? I should have done more research I guess, it's not the fault of the hotel.
