“Good value for money and nice breakfast!”
Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

Sousa guest house is only 3min walk from my house so very convenient in my case. Place is run by very friendly host Pedro. My family stayed at Pedro's guesthouse twice now and they were very happy with the rooms and service. It's a lovely, comfortable and clean house. Plenty of food for breakfast. Good value for money.

Thnx Pedro for the stay,

He's the owner en does the service for you. It was a good stay, the beds slept good. Also the breakfast wast good, enough fresh cut fruit and some home baked things were added. For downtown Londen you've got to walk 5 min to a busstop. A recommondation for anyone.

Comfortable room with television. Great breakfasts for what is advertised as a continental breakfast. Pedro is a great host who makes you feel at home. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back on next visit to London.

We needed a hotel/b&b in the Camberwell area of London and found Sousas almost by accident . How glad we were to find it . though we only stayed 1 night the owner , Pedro ?, could not have been more welcoming . A fab twin room ready for our arrival , none of this you cannot check in before 2 pm nonsense , spotlessly clean and in a very good location . There are plenty of eating and drinking places within a 5 minute walk and the area is a lot cheaper to eat and drink in than central London . The continental breakfast was great , plenty of stuff on the table and more if you want it . Very quiet street that the house is on and very comfortable beds !

Cannot recommend the house enough , an absolute bargain . Next time we are in London we are not even going to bother looking elsewhere .

we are three travelers from Taiwan.
and we stay 2 weeks at Pedro's house~~

The house is located at the margin of Zone2 . It takes some time to London downtown~
but the public transportation is very convenient (using the station "Elephant & Castle")
and several bus lines to downtown!

Pedro is a very nice person, and he is willing to help us for travelling questions!
Oooh! the breakfast he prepares is very delicious and the room is very clean and comfortable!

UK is my first place travelling by myself~ and Pedro's house gave me a remarkable memory : )

Finding somewhere to stay for a reasonable amount in the London area is near-impossible HOWEVER, we 'googled' "B&B in Camberwell" and found just what we wanted . . . Sousa Guesthouse!
We needed somewhere to stay near our daughter rather than in London itself.
Pedro's guesthouse is a perfect place to stay. It's a 3-minute walk from the main high street on a quiet road. A Georgian terraced house set back from the road. Cosy, very clean, comfortable and a substantial, continental breakfast in the morning.
Pedro is a warm-hearted host and very attentive to his guests.
A short walk from the high street and bus routes into the city. Plenty of good eateries and bars. (We highly recommend The Crooked Well!)
We will return.

Room Tip: Our double room was downstairs at the rear and was very quiet. We paid £10 extra to have a key to ou...
