“Nice way to get around and see part of city”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

We used the City Cruises hop on/off, using our London Pass. Though all they have is recorded message, it was nevertheless informative. We got on at Westminster Pier and returned from Tower Pier. Relaxing and enjoyable.

“Relaxing and Comical Guide, up the Thames.”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

took the City Cruise from Westminster Pier, to Greenwich Cutty-Sark, it is the best way to see London all in one go, They don't have guides on the Boat, but there is a member of Staff, who does a Guide, I loved his sarcasm, and it was very comical yet informative at the same time. The trip takes you to Greenwich and take 90 Minutes. You go past some amazing Sights which include, Westminster, London Eye, London Bridge, The Shard, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge, and Canary Wharf. The Boat has an on board bar, where you can purchase Food and Drinks. The Trip Cost £15 Return for 1 Adult and 1 Child, we got a 3rd off for showing our Travelcards.

“River trip to Kew Gardens”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

Caught the boat at Westminster Pier for a trip up river to Kew Gardens. The boat then continues to Richmond and Hampten Court. The boat was nicely furnished and comfortable. There was a commentary throughout the journey and the guide was very knowledgeable. We passed by the Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, Lambeth Palace, Battersea Power Station, Chelsea Harbour and Fulham FC football ground. All very interesting.
Cost: As an OAP it cost £8 one way, £12 return.
There was a licensed bar on board which also served tea and coffee.

“Great Day Out”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Four of us took the trip from Westminster to Greenwich. It is an excellent way to see a lot of the sights. The captain gave an amusing, informative commentary. We stayed in Greenwich for a few hours had a pub lunch then returned. There's a good discount for pensioners or if you've got a valid Railcard.

“A must-do in London”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

We took the Thames river trip from Westminster Bridge to Greenhich, and it was amazing.
You get to see some of the major sites in London, and it is a wonderful experience for kids.

Location: The boat went out from the dock right next to the Westminster Bridge (near Big Ben).
We took a one-way trip, and then made our way back from Greenwich to London by train from the Greenwich station.

Discount: There is a discount if you have a valid Underground Travelcard.
